Sari Ratri has been awarded a Dissertation Fieldwork Grant in the amount of $20,000 by the Wenner-Gren Foundation for her research project entitled “Nourishing the Future: The Roles of Midwives in Indonesia’s Changing Health Development Policies.” The Wenner-Gren Foundation supports anthropological research and broadening the conversation in anthropology to reflect the full diversity of the field.  (Source: Elizabeth R. Sari Ratri and Wara Urwasi were both awarded the Northwestern Buffett Institute Global Impacts Graduate Fellowship for the 2021-22 academic year. This program provides financial and programmatic support to an interdisciplinary cohort of graduate students (in their 3rd through 7th years). Sindhunata Hargyono has a chapter in this upcoming edited volume: Development Zones in Asian Borderlands The chapter will also be included in his dissertation.
