About the ISRSF
The Indonesian Scholarship and Research Support Foundation (ISRSF), or Yayasan Beasiswa dan Dukungan Penelitian Indonesian, is an organization created in 2012 by Indonesian and American scholars to promote social science research in Indonesia by Indonesians. The Foundation is an independent non-profit, and non-partisan philanthropic organization that channels financial support from a diverse group Indonesian and international donors.
ISRSF is devoted to fostering a new generation of Indonesian social scientists trained at the world’s top-tier universities committed to the production of world-class research. In additional to scholarships, ISRSF provides support to Indonesian institutions that create environments conducive to research and publication. A network of Institutes for Advanced Research (IFAR) was established in 2018 to stimulate social science research about Indonesia and by Indonesians.
About the Scholarship
As part of our commitment to support Indonesian social scientists, we have established a new scholarship for Indonesian economists at SOAS University of London. Recipients of SOAS Arryman Scholarships will receive support for studies leading to a doctoral degree in economics, development economics, or international development studies.
