Today, ISRSF proudly announced the departure of Arryman Scholarship recipients to SOAS University of London. Zehan Pricilia, Alifia Marina Syarfi, and Christian Tangkere will join their fellow scholar already at SOAS—Milhatun Nisa, who departed in August 2024, as well as Syarifah Namira Fitrania and Alnick Muhammad Nathan. These scholars are set to pursue their PhDs in Economics and Public Policy over the next four years.
Upon their return, they will take up positions as researchers and academics at the Institute for Advanced Research (IFAR), which ISRSF (The Indonesian Scholarship and Research Support Foundation) established in December 2021. IFAR is a consortium with four member universities: IFAR Atma Jaya; IFAR Monash University, Indonesia; IFAR UIII; and IFAR LPEM UI.
IFARs are specifically designed to ensure that the Arryman Scholars and their colleagues at IFAR thrive as publishing researchers and educators. Through collaborative networks, resources, and support, IFAR empowers scholars to produce high-quality research that can have a meaningful impact in Indonesia and on the global stage. This framework promotes academic excellence and aims to foster a new generation of thought leaders whose work contributes to addressing critical societal challenges through evidence-based research published globally.
